Daily snowmobile rentals

If you’re after a day, a weekend or even an epic fun-filled week, our sleds are the best you’ll find anywhere in Central Oregon.

Ski-Doo Summit SP 850

Our 2022 model Ski-Doo Summit SP 850’s are playful, powerful and insanely fun to ride. They’re ultra-responsive to rider input for effortless handling, and they pack instant power delivery - via their exceptionally responsive Rotax engine - to help you conquer any intimidating mountain terrain. For the gear-heads, you can check out all the specs here.

Polaris PRO RMK 850

Our Polaris 850's are absolute beasts on the mountain. The world's best precision mountain sled features a short, tapered tunnel and lightweight design, with the high performance 850 Patriot and the 155" 2.75" Series 7 track for precision and agility in deep conditions. For the gear-heads, you can check out all the specs here.

Polaris PRO RMK 650

We dare you to find sleds more fun than these. A little lighter, a little more manoeuvrable than their 850 counterparts, they are ideal for smaller or less experienced riders - but don’t let that deter you. These machines carry all the power you’ll need for ripping around trails or blasting through the deep stuff. For the gear-heads, you can check out all the specs here.

 FAQs

  • We require all riders to be 21 years of age or older. To legally ride a snowmobile in Oregon, you are also required to have a driver's license or be certified as qualified to operate a snowmobile.

  • We want everyone to experience the fun that snowmobiling brings. If you’re brand-new to the sport but are riding in a group with other experienced riders, you should be just fine. Stick to trails, think safety first and listen carefully to our briefings.

If you have limited experience, we don’t want you riding alone and may require you to rent at least two sleds so we know you have a partner out there.

If you have some doubts or just want to get comfortable before making a reservation - just call us. We can chat through any fears or concerns and make sure to give you plenty of instruction and prep before you head out.

  • All three models of snowmobile we carry will be a load of fun. The 850s have more raw power while the 650s are a little lighter and slightly easier to manoeuvre. Our suggestion… if you’re under 170lbs, the 650 may be best bet for you. But remember - both are equally fun and will get you anywhere you plan to go.

  • No. These are high-performance sleds intended for a single rider. Each member of your party should rent their own sled.

  • We’ll provide you with lots of local suggestions. You will be able to download trail maps to your phone.

For riders who have limited experience, we typically suggest sticking to the trail system. This reduces the risk of getting lost or stuck, but still allows for plenty of fun.

For experienced and confident riders, you’re not required to stick to the trails at all times - but remember that you are responsible for reading the conditions and making safe decisions.

  • We provide a convenient delivery service for all orders.

If you’re staying in the Bend or Sunriver areas, we’ll arrange a delivery location prior to your rental period and deliver the snowmobiles and trailer directly to your door (or a suitable location).

We’ll also arrange a time to pick up the machines at the same location at the end of your rental period.

We typically deliver sleds any time between 8:00am and 9:00am on the day of your booking. (You may also arrange delivery the NIGHT BEFORE your booking, after 5pm and before 6pm. This option is subject to sled availability).

We then will return to pick up the sleds on the final day of your rental period any time between 4:00pm and 5.30pm.

Once we have delivered the snowmobiles and trailer to you, we can also assist hitching the the trailer to your vehicle so you can head off to any Sno-Park that you’d like to explore.

  • We’ll supply every sled to you with a full tank of gas, meaning you can get up on the mountain as quickly as possible. A single tank is usually plenty for a single day of riding, but if you are renting for multiple days, you’ll likely want to refill during your rental period.

At the end of your rental period, we ask that you stop by a gas station and refill the tanks before returning your sleds. We can refill them for you, but we’ll add a Fuel Surcharge.

  • We’ll supply you with trailers for the sleds in your order. All of our trailers are doubles, meaning you can fit two sleds onto a single trailer.

Keep in mind - if you’re renting more than two sleds, you’ll need more than one vehicle to tow all the sleds at the same time.

  • You need a 2 inch ball coupler with a 4 way flat wire connector for lights. Any truck and most SUVs will easily handle a fully loaded double trailer.

  • Elevation Adventure Rentals is primarily configured as a “tow-and-go” operation. If you are unable to tow with your vehicle or a vehicle in your group, we recommend renting a truck for the period of the snowmobile rental. Local providers like U-Haul offer affordable trucks which are kitted out for towing.

If you are unable to arrange a vehicle, give us a call or email and we’ll discuss delivery or trailer-sharing options.

  • When you make your final payment at pick-up, we’ll also request to process a security ‘hold’ on your credit card. The amount of the Security Deposit required will be calculated per order - each snowmobile will require a $1500 desposit. We’ll keep a hold on this until you return the sleds (plus trailer, helmets etc) in the same condition we provided them to you. If there is damage recorded, we’ll price out the repair and return any remaining funds (if any) from your security deposit after the repair is paid for.

  • If you’re riding in the backcountry, and especially on a deep powder day, we will strongly recommend you ride with a partner or in a group. If you haven’t got experience in these kinds of conditions, we’ll give you a quick ‘lesson’ on getting unstuck as you pick up your sled. With a bit of work, you can usually dig free from most situations. If you really cannot get yourself free, we’ll come find you and get you out, though we will charge a small Assistance Fee. Our office is in downtown Bend, so keep in mind it may take an hour or more to get to your location.

  • We only stock new 2022 sleds and we have a thorough maintenance program. You’re very unlikely to have mechanical issues, but if you do - simply call us and we’ll come up and meet you. If you manage to damage it through dangerous riding or misuse, we’ll keep a hold on your Security Deposit and until we can price out the repair.

  • Yes. You must have a valid Sno-Park permit displayed near the lower left corner of the windshield of your vehicle if you park in a designated winter recreation parking area (Sno-Park) beginning November 1 and ending April 30.

Don’t have one? No worries. We have them for sale in our shop and you can easily add one to your order at pick up.
